2016 Tmoc Part III: Cognitive Expertise

Details regarding the 2016 Tmoc Part III  examination will be posted on this site when available.  It is anticipated that information and the application will be posted by March, 2016.

This application is only intended for use for Diplomates due to take the 2016 Tmoc Part III Examination.

Applications will NOT be accepted for: A) Future examinations; and B) Diplomates not in Year 8-10 of their Tmoc cycle.

Step 3. Complete the application online. Download the latest version of Adobe Reader (free download) – Adobe Reader version 8 or higher is required to complete the form. Applicants will complete a fillable PDF form. Mac users may need to use Adobe Reader if Mac Preview will not allow this. ABAM offers a Transitional Maintenance of Certification program for its current diplomates and a public listing of physicians who hold active ABAM certification status. In March, 2016 the American Board of Medical Specialties formally recognized addiction medicine as a multi-specialty subspecialty. Future certification examinations in addiction medicine will be administered by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
